Alia Dawood is a graduate of Architecture from Central Saint Martins (BA Hons) London, and the University of Cambridge (MPhil). Prior to her research based degree at Cambridge University, Alia practiced architecture at Hopkins Architects, Sou Fujimoto Architects and assisted tutoring design studios at Westminster University in London. 

Alia is also a co-founder of Opensource Architecture, a non profit platform based in Dubai aimed at creating programmes for like-minded design professionals to collaborate on goodwill projects by contributing skills, research, design services, knowledge and expertise.
